A long-time leader within Coeur d’Alene Tribal Government, Francis SiJohn is in his third year as CEO of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. He has already overseen multiple positive initiatives, including a major 68,000 square-foot renovation to the casino, which was completed in March 2019. SiJohn and his team envisioned and executed the new unifying interior design, complete with new high-limit gaming and other amenities, plus the creation of a state-of-the-art event center. The event center boasts a new worldclass sound and lighting system that delivers perhaps the finest concert experience for casino patrons in the Pacific Northwest!
While the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel enjoys the visionary leadership of one of the Pacific Northwest’s most influential CEO’s, SiJohn’s influence reaches far beyond the properties walls. As an extension of traditional Native American hospitality, he maintains a stalwart commitment to both responsible environmental stewardship and support of education. Five percent of all gaming profits from the property go to public schools and education programs. A firm believer in education, SiJohn earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and Construction and a Masters of Public Administration degree from Eastern Washington University.
