About Sidney:
Create & Paint with Sidney Black Eagle -
My name is Sidney Black Eagle and I have been an artist for about 15 years. I was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and my children are Coeur d'Alene tribal members. I, myself am Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux and Norwegian, but I have much closer ties with the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. With being a stay-at-home mom, my art has been put on the back burner, but over the last few months I have been working on making it a main priority again.
Through my art I like to show movements with colors and test my limits by using creative and new techniques. I am inspired greatly by nature, people, wildlife, and emotions. With my Create and Paint class I want to explore different, new, and fun techniques, understand mixing and creating colors and how they can complement each other, while having an outlet for creativity and being able to feel free to customize your painting as you go.
