Jefferson Starship Hits the Stage This March

WORLEY, Idaho (February 28, 2022) — Jefferson Starship and King of the Cage will kick off the Coeur Stars lineup next month. With more shows being announced the lineup for the year is almost set with more to come. The latest to join the lineup are Elton John tribute Yellow Brick Road will grace the Coeur d’Alene Casino stage on July 21 and Blues Traveler has joined the lineup coming to the Inland Northwest on Aug. 4.

Circling Raven Golf Club will open for play on April 8.  The nationally-ranked course where the “frequent player” Advantage Card and other offers provide golfers with impressive deals for golfers and groups is starting the season filled with programs for players of all types.

Jefferson Starship – March 10
The chart-topping, arena rock band is bringing their hits to Coeur d’Alene Casino on March 10 at 7 p.m. Jefferson Starship earned three platinum and eight gold records throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s. Fans know them for their many top 40 hits including “Miracles,” “Jane” and “Find your Way Back.” Tickets for Jefferson Starship start at $40.

King of the Cage – March 31
King of the Cage is bringing MMA back to Coeur d’Alene Casino on March 31 at 7 p.m. The region’s best fighters will compete including Tylor SiJohn, Josh Richman, Cameron Robinett, Travis Wasileski, and Brandon Rivera. Tickets start at $50.

Voyage – The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band – April 21
Take a voyage back to the ‘80s with what fans are calling the No. 1 Journey tribute band. With a plethora of hits to cover the night will be full of songs like “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Any Way you Want It” and “Wheel in the Sky.” The show begins at 7 p.m. on April 21, tickets start at $30.

Purple Reign – The Prince Tribute Show – May 12
The number one Prince tribute show, Purple Reign, is bringing their talents to Coeur d’Alene Casino on May 12 at 7 p.m. The first tribute act to appear as a musical guest on the “Late Show with David Letterman,” Purple Reign seamlessly recreates the legendary performances of Prince. Tickets start at $25.

Casey Donahew – June 30
The “Let’s Make a Love Song” American country music artist, Casey Donahew will grace the Coeur d’Alene Casino stage on June 30 at 7 p.m. With 21 No. 1 singles, fans will have plenty to sing along to. Donahew has been touring for more than 18 years and saw critical acclaim with his sophomore effort, “All Night Party” reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Fans might know him for hits like “What Cowboys Do,” “3 A.M.” and “Bad Guy.” Tickets start at $40.

Yellow Brick Road – July 21
Experience the energy, excitement, hit songs and costumes (even down to the signature glasses) of Elton John this July at Coeur d’Alene Casino when Yellow Brick Road, A Tribute to Elton John hits the stage. The band, headed by Gerald Brann as John, brings the full experience with light show and sound system. The show begins at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $30.

Blues Traveler – Aug. 4
Blues Traveler will bring their jam band feel and blues-based rock to the northwest this August. The band is best known for hits like “Run-Around,” “Hook” and “But Anyway.” Formed in 1987 by singer/harmonica player John Popper, Blues Traveler is still catching attention with their 2021 Grammy-nominated covers album “Travelers Blues.” Fans can experience the ‘90s nostalgia on Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now starting at $50.

Nighthawk Lounge Live Music
Enjoy live entertainment in a chic, modern setting with a state-of-the-art sound system and a full bar. Live music is set for Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Chinook Crafted by Adam Hegsted Live Music
In 2020 Chinook reopened with a refreshed name and updated menu designed by local culinary legend Adam Hegsted. The new menu includes an updated cocktail program adding 10 craft cocktails that can be enjoyed while listening to live music at the Chinook Lounge Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Inlander Restaurant Week – through March 5
Experience specials not found on Coeur d’Alene Casino’s regular menus for an amazing deal. Chinook Crafted by Adam Hegsted will be offering a three-course menu for $44 that starts with a choice of prawn cocktail, risotto coquets or bacon-wrapped dates. The second course features a choice of Wagyu top sirloin, sockeye salmon or scallop fettuccini. Topping off the meal, diners will have the choice of lemon cheesecake, Baileys pudding cake or tartan. Red Tail Bar & Grill will be offering a Restaurant Week special for $22 with your choice of tostada, queso dip or a chicken quesadilla to start, a second course choice of buffalo chicken tacos, fajitas or taco burger and a choice of chocolate leche caramel cake, flan or tres leches cake for dessert.

Chinook’s Spring Menu
Chinook crafted by Adam Hegsted is now serving their new spring menu featuring a baked brie with a peach chutney and pan-seared tiger shrimp cakes on the appetizer menu. New entrees include a chicken piccata and a luxurious Wagyu steak. Chinook’s menu changes seasonally but don’t worry, the popular seafood alfredo hasn’t gone anywhere but has an updated look with larger scallops. Lifeways Workshop: Make Your Own Full-Size Plateau Basket – March 4 & 5
The popular “make your own” workshops return to Coeur d’Alene Casino this March with a two-day make your own full-size plateau basket. Tickets are $160 per person and include all supplies as well as refreshments and $10 Extra Play Cash each day and a meal voucher on the second day. The workshop is taught by Tribal member Leanne Campbell. She will take participants through the creation and history of a full-sized root bag, or Sally Bag. The workshop will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5. Tickets are available now.

29th Anniversary Powwow – March 19

April Stickgame Tournament – April 1-3
Witness exciting diversions, trickery and unique drumbeats at the Honoring Our Elders $39,000 Stickgame Tournament, April 1 through 3. This tribal tradition of betting and entertainment is free to watch. Tribal participants will have a chance at the $39,000 pot through the three-day tournament.

Blessings Under the Bridge – April 9
Blessings Under the Bridge will be holding “Get Loose, Footloose: A Time to Mourn, A Time to Dance,” at Coeur d’Alene Casino on April 9. The organization will be providing hot meals, a dining area, clothing, pet food, groceries, hygiene supplies and on-site health, job and mental health services., Live music will be provided by LifeFeet. Circling Raven Championship – Aug. 22‒28
The LPGA Tour recently announced a new title sponsor for this year’s “Road to the LPGA” tour with Epson signing a five-year deal. The 2022 Circling Raven Championship, which returns August 22‒28, 2022, is part of the Epson Tour, the LPGA’s official qualifying tour. Last year’s inaugural Circling Raven Championship presented by KXLY News 4 Now was the first in the three-year agreement with the LPGA. Competitors will battle for a share of the $200,000 purse which was one of the highest purses on the tour last year.
