Coeur d’Alene Casino Brings the Deals this February

Valentine’s Dinner for Two ­– Feb. 12–16
Let Coeur d’Alene Casino do the cooking this Valentine’s Day. Chinook Steak, Pasta & Spirits will be serving up a four-course meal with romantic twists. Start the evening with a choice of grilled prawn cocktail with tequila cocktail sauce or diver scallops pan-seared with tomato relish. The second course offers a choice of a Caesar salad, butter lettuce wedge, small northwest or house salad. Guests then have the choice of Manhattan-style 8 oz New York Steak or a cedar wrapped salmon served with fresh vegetables and fingerling potatoes. Finally, dessert to share. Inlander Restaurant Week at Coeur d’Alene Casino – Feb. 20–29
Both Red Tail Bar and Grill and Chinook Steak, Pasta & Spirits are participating in this year’s Inlander Restaurant week with some of the best deals of the week. Each location offers a three-course meal with choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. Red Tail’s menu is $22 per person and includes choices of Mexican hummus, chicken quesadillas or queso dip for an appetizer, chili braised beef tacos, Ol’ Wester burger or chicken Caesar wrap for an entrée and peach huckleberry crisp, lemon meringue pie or carrot cake for dessert. Lifeways Folded Cedar Bark Necklace Workshop – Feb. 22
Create your own cedar bark necklace and learn the history and significance of the sacred cedar tree on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. During the 3-hour hands-on workshop a Coeur d’Alene Tribal member LeAnne Campbell will teach attendees how to create a miniature folded cedar basket strung into a beautiful necklace.
