Circling Raven Schedules ‘High School Championship’ for Golfers whose Season was Affected by Pandemic

(Worley, Idaho; May 24, 2021) – Circling Raven, the No. 1-rated public course in Idaho, has room for additional players in its “High School Championship” tournament on June 1. The event helps fill the void created for student-athletes whose spring golf season was affected due to the pandemic.

“We’re happy that life is beginning to get back to normal, but we know that many golfers have missed out on their traditional post season tournaments and championships,” said David VonBrethorst, Circling Raven Head Golf Professional. “We want to provide them with a memorable final high school event, and we invite players to grab their peers and join the fun.”

Players can choose from one of two different formats:

  • Individual Stroke Play (Male and Female Divisions)
  • Two Person Team Best Ball (Male, Female, and Co-Ed Divisions)

To register, players can sign up here or call 1-800-523-2464 and ask for Circling Raven Golf Club.

Play will begin with tee times starting at 1 pm. There will be lunch provided for all participants and prizes for individual champions and the top three teams. The registration fee is $50 – almost one-half of what a round would typically cost.

This is the second straight year that the “High School Championship” is being held at Circling Raven, which is owned and operated by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.
