Casino’s First Ultra Lounge Opens November 16th

WORLEY, Idaho (Nov. 7, 2019) – The secret’s out, Coeur d’Alene Casino now has its first ultra lounge. The chic and modern Nighthawk Ultra Lounge will feature live entertainment, a state-of-the-art sound system, an exciting new bar menu and modern touches which will all be unveiled at the grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Coeur d’Alene Casino.

The new sound system and aesthetic are part of the final phase of a large-scale renovations project at the casino resort, encompassing more than 65,000 square feet of gaming and event space. With the addition of the Ultra Lounge, the original Nighthawk Lounge has expanded to seating for over 250 guests.

Adrian Jones of Jones-Greenwold Architecture & Design wrapped the walls in a chic gray-brown poplar bark, which adds a modern touch while still tying into elements of the surrounding land. The ceilings now feature chandeliers and the room provides a host of comfortable couches to complement the elegant, hip vibe. To put it simply, there is nothing quite like it in the inland northwest region.

The new stage will show off its state-of-the-art Alcons Audio sound system with regularly scheduled live music on Fridays and Saturdays, along with other great local, regional, and national entertainment.

Grand opening night will first feature live jazz with CeCe Curtis, a tribute to Mildred Bailey, starting at 6:30 pm. Bailey was an influential American jazz singer in the 1930s and a Coeur d’Alene tribal member. The Ryan Larsen Band will bring boot stomping country music hits from 9:00 to 1:00 am close out the night. The country rock band has been around for more than 15 years bringing hits from Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks to the region.
