Live Entertainment Makes a Comeback in 2021

WORLEY, Idaho (April 7, 2021)­—It’s time to turn up the volume – concerts are returning to Coeur d’Alene Casino. During a quiet year of canceled entertainment, the property has been busy making plans and securing this year’s Coeur Stars through the end of 2021.

The 2021 entertainment lineup will include some returning favorites and a few new faces. Tickets for Coeur Stars are now on sale. Here’s what is in store:

  • Grits and Glamour – Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis – Thursday, Aug. 19
  • Super Diamond – The Neil Diamond Tribute Band – Thursday, Sept. 2

  • Mixed Martial Arts – Thursday, Nov. 18

Earlier this week Coeur d’Alene Casino was notified that Gary Allan has canceled the inland Northwest leg of his 2021 tour and will not be playing at the casino in June. Tickets for the yet-to-be-announced show were briefly on sale, full refunds have been processed and will be back on the card used to purchase within seven to 10 business days.

Though concertgoers will still have to wait a few more months for live music, there’s still plenty of entertainment at Coeur d’Alene Casino this month.

Nighthawk Lounge Live Music
Enjoy live entertainment in a chic, modern setting with a state-of-the-art sound system and a full bar. Live music is set for Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Chinook Crafted by Adam Hegsted Live Music
Chinook recently reopened with a refreshed name and updated menu designed by local culinary legend Adam Hegsted. The new menu includes an updated cocktail program adding 10 craft cocktails that can be enjoyed while listening to live music at the Chinook Lounge Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Lifeways Workshop: Make Your Own Plateau Basketry – Saturday, April 17
Learn to make your own small round root bag, also known as a Sally Bag. This evening workshop includes dinner and a hands-on Coeur d’Alene Tribal member-guided workshop. Suitable for ages 15 and up, the workshop is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 17. Tickets are $85.

Create & Paint with Sidney Black Eagle – Sunday, April 18
Local artist Sidney Black Eagle will be teaching a Create & Paint workshop that explores new, fun techniques. Learn about mixing and creating colors and how they can complement each other. Black Eagle was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene and has been an artist for 15 years. The workshop begins at noon on Sunday, April 18. Tickets are $40.

Lifeways Workshop: Make Your Own Upcycled Basket – Sunday, April 25
In honor of Earth Day learn how to turn recycled plastic grocery bags into a Columbia Plateau Basket. This Cultural Tourism Lifeways Workshop blends the celebration of a modern movement towards environmental protection and awareness with a centuries old technique of basket making used by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. This workshop is suitable for ages 15 and up, and begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 25. Tickets are $55 and include lunch.
