Coeur Connections Continues with Tools 2 Schools Partnership

WORLEY, Idaho (July 22, 2020) — Coeur d’Alene Casino is partnering with KREM 2 and Communities in Schools for this year’s Tools 2 Schools fundraiser. Through the month of August, donations will be collected for school supplies, backpacks and other means of support for local children.
Coeur d’Alene Casino is offering $5 Extra Play Cash for every $5 donation made to Tools 2 Schools at the casino (maximum $10 EPC) as part of their Coeur Connections charity program introduced in June.
“We recently announced Coeur Connections in an effort to continue and enhance our community support,” said Laura Stensgar, CEO of Coeur d’Alene Casino. “We are also proud to continue our long partnership with KREM for Tools 2 Schools and bring more support and awareness to our local schools. There are so many unknowns going into this school year. These children will need our support more than ever.”
All donations will go to Communities in Schools and will help pay for needed school supplies including traditional items like pens and paper, plus extras like internet support, food and basic hygiene items.
“Like everything else right now, Tools 2 Schools will pivot to address new issues and work to provide whatever kids need to return to school in person or learn from home (or a combination of both),” said Laura Papetti, KREM 2 Community Marketing Director and Anchor. “We believe all kids should have the opportunity to learn and have the resources necessary to continue their education.”
Donations will be accepted from Aug. 1 to 31. For more information about Coeur d’Alene Casino and Coeur Connections, visit cdacasino.com.
