Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce Unveils Tribal Themed Executive Meeting Room

WORLEY, Idaho (Sept. 7, 2017) – The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce was joined today by members of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Coeur d’Alene Casino at the unveiling of their newly designed executive meeting room.

The ribbon cutting comes after months of work to update the room and add design touches that reflect the Coeur d’Alene Tribe’s traditions and history.

“The Coeur d’Alene Tribe has always had a close relationship with the Coeur d’Alene Community. We’re proud to be represented and acknowledged as a fellow partner in our beautiful community,” said Francis SiJohn, CEO at Coeur d’Alene Casino. “Today we celebrate a new design that reflects the essence, beauty and spirit of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.”

The meeting room’s updated design includes a silhouette of Coeur d’Alene Tribal Chief Antelope on the outer window, a large medicine wheel featuring four important aspects of the Tribe: environment, people, economy and tradition, and is open to members of the chamber.

“On behalf of our board and membership, I want to extend our sincere appreciation to the Coeur d’Alene Tribe & Casino for their tremendous support of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber’s mission,” said Steve Wilson, Chamber CEO. “Through their partnership with the Chamber, both with financial and human capital, each organization has been enhanced. Recently, great synergy between the organizations has been developed—this beautiful room is only one example.”

The executive meeting room is the key meeting location for most all Chamber Executive & Committee meetings hosting hundreds of people per month. For more information on the Chamber contact 208-664-3194.
